Kwam via de social media iets nieuws tegen: Gran Fondo Magazine. Lijkt veelbelovend. Binnenkort verschijnt de eerste uitgave en als ik het goed begrijp digitaal en gratis. Via Facebook geven ze af en toe een impressie van de inhoud.

Wie zich nu inschrijft voor de nieuwsbrief (LINK) maakt bovendien kans op een CANYON Ultimate CF SLX. En waarschijnlijk hoef je daar niet negen maanden op te wachten.

Inderdaad veelbelovend. Vooral als het inderdaad gratis blijft en toch onafhankelijk is (als in: niet gesponsord door een select aantal merken). Aangezien ze 15 fietsen van verschillende merken aan het testen zijn, lijkt dat laatste namelijk wel het geval.

Klikken alleen is niet genoeg, haha. Maar met een beetje heel erg veel geluk kan ik dan eindelijk een positieve reactie over levertijd in het Canyon-topic plaatsen.

Nieuwsbrief, website gaat blijkbaar bijna in de lucht:

As you might already have realized, we don’t want to go the mainstream way. We don’t like to just cover events, we love to create our own events and be an inspiring part of the riding community.

During the course of the year we have planned various events with amazing partners around the globe where we’ll hopefully meet you. These events are always a good opportunity to catch up, have a coffee or beer together and talk about the bright side of life.

The first opportunity will be at the Berlin Bicycle Week (Germany) on the 19th of March. We’ve partnered up with TREK to create the Trek E-Derny Race powered by Diamant. This is a homage to derny racing but with a whole new take on the legendary format. There’ll be eight two-person teams battling for victory, with an S-Pedelec Diamant 825+ doubling as the modern derny, while racers climb aboard a Trek Madone 9 or an Émonda SLR. Held in knockout style, this derny race will be decided by the close cooperation between the racer and the pace-setter. And you can be sure that we have prepared some surprises for this event.
