I'm sorry that my Dutch is not currently good enough to write an intelligible request for help. I hope you don't mind me using English.

My Batavus Cambridge bike has drum brakes (trommelremmen) but the one on the back got stuck in the applied position and gradually became worn away before I realised. Now I've fixed the problem that caused it to get stuck but one end of one of the brakepads is really worn, the brake is ineffective and when I brake hard, it squeaks loudly. It appears that the brake pads cannot be removed and replaced so I want to know where I can get a replacement trommelrem cheaply. The make of the brake is SACHS and it's part of a hub with 7 gears. Can anyone here advise me? I live in Maastricht.

In kort, ik heb een nieuw trommelrem nodig voor de achterwiel van mijn Batavus Cambridge omafiets (met zeven versnellingen). Ik wil om te weten waar ik kun een nieuw deel goede kopen? I woon in Maastricht.

I think that most bike shops can get you a new drum brake. Sachs has been bought by SRAM, so I think any shop that carries that brand should be able to get it for you.
