Afgelopen weekeinde de Omloop der Peel gereden, een tweedaagse wedstrijd. Zaterdag na 100 km, ik lekker voorin, het tempo ging omhoog, maar ik kon goed volgen, shit, voorband lek. De wang van de band was gescheurd, waarschijnlijk gebeurd toen ik uit de berm terug de weg op probeerde te komen. Met heel veel pijn en moeite terug kunnen rijden naar het peloton, maar nooit terug voorin gekomen.
En gisteren, valpartij voor me, bij 50 aan het uur. Slippen, uitwijken, mijn achterwiel stuiterde alle kanten op. Toen de rook was opgetrokken zat er een bobbel in mijn achterband. Waarschijnlijk binnenband tussen de buitenband en de velg gekomen, ik weet het niet? In ieder geval stond ik 300 meter later weer aan de kant te kijken. Achteraf een scheur in m'n binnenband van een centimeter of 4.

En dat is drie..in twee weken, heb het er wel mee gehad nu, zeker met pompen (vermoeiender dan fietsen). Toch maar een op zoek naar een C02 geval.

2 keer dezelfde voorband (Vittoria open Pave 24mm) waarschijnlijk door stootlek, 2 maal in 20 minuten continental 4000 maar dan door velglintproblemen, 1 maal continental 4000 met conti binnenbandje het ventiel eruit getrokken na pompen...

Vandaag ook na 'n jaartje weer eens lek .
En meteen goed . 'N Scheur in m'n veloflex record achterband van +- 5 cm .
Morgen meteen ff nieuwe buitenbandjes halen .

In het natte weer van gisteren lekgereden door een van de 2 vrij grote steentjes in het loopvlak. Na een harde rand na een tunneltje onder de A12 door was het stoppen voor een nieuwe biba. De steentjes ontdekte ik thuis pas.

Vandaag 1 jaar geleden Ultremo dd banden erom gedaan.
8351 km op de teller en nog geen 1 x een lekke band gehad.
In het laatste blad van fiets kwam deze band ook goed uit de verf.
Verder kijk ik mijn banden regelmatig na en haal ik alle stukjes glas en steentjes eruit.
