Fietstijden.nl is er mee gestopt. Nu ben ik op zoek naar een vervanger. Wie heeft goede suggesties?
Het gaat mij op het bijhouden van mijn fietsprestaties zonder gebruik te hoeven maken van Strava o.i.d.
Mag een Website zijn of een App.
(Ik weet niet helemaal zeker of ik het onderwerp in het goede forumgedeelte heb geplaatst maar kon geen beter deel vinden)
Hoor graag suggesties.

Ik gebruik zelf Trainingpeaks. Niet goedkoop, wel heel goed.

Ik gebruik zelf Trainingpeaks. Niet goedkoop, wel heel goed.
Net zoals Strava heeft Trainingpeaks een gratis en betalende versie. Tenzij je het tegendeel hebt kunnen lezen ergens, zou ik er niet zomaar van uitgaan dat zij niets met je data doen.

Strava zal best wat met mijn data doen, maar ik heb nog nooit het gevoel dat ik reclame krijg omdat ze mijn gegevens van Strava gekocht hebben. Gebruik van Google is veel duidelijker. Soms iets gezocht en binnen de kortste keren reclame afgeleid van mijn zoekopdracht.

Strava gebruikt je data normaal gezien (altijd met twee woorden spreken) niet voor persoonlijke advertenties. Buiten de tegenwoordig vervelende reclame voor Strava Summit, zijn er ook geen advertenties op Strava. Wat Strava wél doet, is het verkopen van geanonimiseerde en gebundelde data, bv Strava Metro dat de data van fiets-commuters aan stadsbesturen verkoopt. En ik kan me voorstellen dat er ook heel wat sport- en gezondheidsinstanties geïnteresseerd zijn in een grote berg data van sportende mensen.

Hier lig ik persoonlijk niet van wakker (anders zou ik ook geen strava gebruiken). Zolang niet iedereen kan zien waar ik woon en mijn fietsen bewaar, mogen ze doen wat ze willen met mijn (anonieme) data.

Waarom die data discussie over strava (en traininpeaks..,).

TS heeft nog niet eens gereageerd waarom hij/zij geen strava wil gebruiken (we gaan er maar direct vanuit dat t met privacy en/of data te maken heeft). Misschien is er wel een hele andere reden?

Het doel is: "bijhouden van fietsprestaties, Zonder strava" .., Dat kan volgens mij via de apps van de verschillende fietscomputers... kies diegene die van toepassing is voor jouw fietscomputer.
Dat kan ook in een schriftje/dagboekje, met pen en papier. Maak er een ruitjesschrift van, dan kan je een tijdlijn tekenen en verticaal de (cumulatief) gereden afstanden uittekenen. (of snelheid, of tijdsduur, of... ).
Je kunt ook excel, of een opensource variant hiervan pakken. Dat maakt het verwerken van de data wat simpeler (google docs is ook een prima optie).
